TUESDAY TAKEOVERS

(booked until November 2018)

To apply to do a Tuesday Takeover with us please email info@thenashvilleguide.com with the following information: 

  • Name
  • Instagram Handle
  • Any other social media handles and/or website/blog
  • A quick list of what you’re thinking of featuring - you won’t be tied to do these
  • Four Tuesday’s you’d be available to do a takeover (Note: We need your captions and photos a week in advance)

If you’ve been chosen for a Tuesday Takeover someone will be in contact with you within two weeks of applying. From there we will set up a date for your takeover. 

Requirements:

  • Four posts max
  • Photos must be square in size
  • One photo per post (no slide photos)
  • Be sure to highlight a variety of businesses
  • The type of business must be easily understood in the photo 
  • It's okay for you to be in the pictures but please limit yourself to only being in two of the photos
  • Use #nashguidetakeover on all posts
  • Make sure to start out or end each caption with your Instagram handle and a mention that you’re doing a takeover.  
  • Send all your captions and photos a week before your takeover date to abby@thenashvilleguide.com for approval
  • Due to security reasons, we will be posting the photos and captions on the day of your takeover

Businesses - if you own or work at a local business and want to do a takeover you are more than welcome to. However please only feature your business in one of the photos/posts. The rest of the posts should focus on other local businesses.

GUEST BLOGGERS

To apply to do a guest blog post with us please email info@thenashvilleguide.com with the following information: 

  • Name
  • Instagram Handle
  • Any other social media handles and/or website/blog
  • Three ideas you have for a blog post. These can just be potential blog titles or one sentence describing each post idea.

If you’ve been chosen to be a guest blogger someone will be in contact with you within two weeks of applying. From there we will set up a date for your blog post to go live. 

Requirements:

  • Write in the first person
  • If possible provide photos - these must be YOUR photos otherwise you must provide permission from the photographer. If you can’t provide photos, no worries, we can get photos that will fit your content
  • Provide headshot 
  • Provide short bio (3-4 sentences) - include social media handles and website/blog link
  • Send your blog post and photos (if any) to abby@thenashvilleguide.com at least two weeks before your blog post will go live.
