Marketing & Design Internship
Company Overview:
We started as a local Instagram account (@thenashvilleguide) and have evolved along the way. Today we work with local businesses to help promote them through our various advertising channels. We are a big supporter of shopping local and believe in supporting our communities dreams. We also have a book called The Nashville Guide and Nashville hats and shirts.
Commitment:
15 hours/week
Responsibilities:
Design and manage email marketing campaigns
Format and design articles
Proofread blog articles and other content
Assist with branding and website redesign/updates
Assist with other special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Experience in Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator (at least 1 year)
Experience with email marketing (preferably MailChimp)
Extremely detail-oriented
Great eye for design
Must meet deadlines
Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently as well as part of a team
Must have a personal computer to work with
You’ll really stand out if you have:
Website design experience
Shopify experience
SEO experience
Google analytics experience
Photography experience
Work Perks:

Work when you want and where you want…as long as you get your work done we don’t care what days/hours you work.
We don’t have an office so your home, a coffee shop, or park can be your office!
Pay:
We are starting this position as unpaid. If you truly invest in us, we are open to investing in you. We are looking for people that are entrepreneurs in nature, candidates that want to help us build new revenue streams and explore new ways to promote, connect, and support local.
